Danau Singkarak (The Singkarak lake)

The Singkarak lake was in two regencies in West Sumatra, Kabupaten Solok and the Tanah Datar Regency. Widely 107.8 km² this lake was the lake was expanded the 2 in the Sumatran Island. This lake was the Ombilin Stick upstream. This lake water was partly channelled beyond the tunnel penetrated the Barisan Hill to the Anai Stick to move the PLTA Singkarak generator near Lubuk Alung, Padang Pariaman


The fish bilih (Mystacoleucus padangensis) was the species of the fish that was estimated by only lives in this lake [1], and to one of the typical food.
